Our Bike
Families
At El Lobo Cycles, we love what we do. We may not be the biggest shop or the flashiest, but we have the best customer base in the world. They allow us to build bikes that we are proud to call our own. All focused on marrying form and function, performance and breaking the mould of what a chopper “should look like”. We build our bikes in series, as many as we think we can make into originals, and then we close the series, never to be built again.
Stainless Swingarm Shovels
A re-imagination of the classic shovel swingarm chopper – El Lobo Style. These bikes represent the relentless pursuit of excellence, no bars held, with every detail considered and optimised.
Wolves in sheep’s clothing: the aesthetic of show-bikes, but rippers that have seen the Californian sun, hills, South Africa, and Arctic snow.
(Series of 6: 5 built/reserved – 1 open spot)

Softails
One of the most versatile platforms to use for modest but effective chops: the Evo Softail. The Softail is a great entry-level chopper model, as donor bikes are easily available and affordable.
But don’t be mistaken, when we are done with these bikes, they are unrecognisable from their original form.
(Series of 8: 6 built/reserved – 2 open spots)

Shovel Around
Some fever-dreams just need to become reality.
This misfit family of Shovels are like a dysfunctional family you have to love.
Don’t be mistaken, every single bike has been built with care and has its own distinct personality.
(Series of 5: 2 built/reserved – 3 open spots)

Classic Shovels
Reborn Classic Shovels, with a focus on beauty, craftsmanship and innovation. Standard Shovels, evolving into well-tuned bikes, retaining the iconic Shovel design. Fully rebuilt and upgraded Shovels that handle like daily riders, but then better.
(Series of 8: 6 built – 1 reserved – 1 open spot)

West Coast Styling
Jesse James made a splash with a frame design and engine power that still reverberates today. We grew up on these bikes, like the generations before us did on Easy Rider.
Taking strong styling cues from the West Coast style, we build our own interpretations of it.
(Series of 6: 3 built/reserved – 3 open spots)

M8 Mods
We have embraced the M8 platform because it enables incredible performance and style upgrades. Sometimes you just want to blast for hours, and a chopper won’t do. We heavily customise the M8 platform bikes to get every inch of power out of them, while standing out in the crowd.
(Series of 8: 4 built/reserved – 4 open spots)

Cali 2.0
We fully realize that this style, with frames that go up (4-6”) rather than out, and a tight rake (32 degree-inch), may not be coined in California …… but that is how it has always felt to us. Nimble, aggressive stance, strong engines, straight risers with GP bars. Hardtailed or with a swingarm. Clean and tight.
(Series of 4: 1 built – 3 open spots)

Hardtail ELC
We’re launching a new series with the goal of building the cleanest, no-thrill hardtails around. Every part on these bikes needs to have a crucial function and look good, otherwise it’ll get binned. We intend to make the frames available to the public, so they can build their own righteous chopper.
(Series: initially planned for 5 bikes)
